CAVE-JOB
i just watched finished watching the best movie with cyrus and robbie. You’ve probably guessed it from the jpg posted above, but its called “Quest for Fire”. The movie was made in 1981 and features the talents of Ron Perlman and many other unfortunate actors who were cast because of their cave-like-qualities. The movie’s arc can be summed up in its title, but don’t be fooled- cavemen and women faced trials and tribulations that none of could possibly conceive of! For instance fighting tribes of lesser humans like cromagdoggs and neanderthals and also these dwarfish folks with lots of red hair [maybe homo-erectoids?] ALSO, encountering civilizations that are more advanced than yours! These were all legitimized to me as caveman concerns. i am lucky to sit back and think “damn i am glad that there are no neanders waitin to jump me and steal my fire when i go to my car”. and as if being caveman wasn’t tough enough, this movie showed how the cavemen and cavewomen were pretty indistinguishable! to top it all off though, guess why cavemen Really had to worry about sub-human belligerent tribes? because when they got you pinned in a fight they bite your nuts.
